Palazzo Las Vegas - Monstrosity Takes Shape

Palazzo, the extension of The Venetian is taking shape and due to open Fall 2007. The place is so big, and cramped in a seemingly small spot, that it's parking garage is underground. I believe that is a first for Las Vegas hotels. Is that the garage entrance on the lower right of the photo? If so, then I imagine that entering traffic will stick out on Las Vegas Boulevard as pedestrians walk by, and vehicles try to negotiate crossing the sidewalk. It should be an outstanding place.

Las Vegas - Trump Tower 1

Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas is nearing external completion. When the face is complete, Trump's name will go on the top of the 64 floor building, which is at or near 620 feet tall.

From the south end of The Strip, Trump Tower can be seen rising solidly straight ahead, despite the elbow turn on Las Vegas Boulevard, which obscures some buildings from sight.

There will be a second tower built, once the first is completed. I believe that the first tower will be open in February 2008.
